2026 Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show Volunteer Information
Volunteers are needed Monday, November 2 through Sunday, November 8 for various event needs!
Positions are available for people of all abilities.
The Global Down Syndrome Foundation is looking for experienced, hardworking volunteers to help with the 2026 Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show that supports the amazing people with Down syndrome we serve! Volunteers play an essential role in the success of the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show, contributing their time, energy, and talents across a wide range of event functions. Responsibilities vary based on each volunteer’s assigned position and shift time, but every role is vital to creating a seamless and memorable experience for our guests and supporters.
Volunteer shifts include pre-event setup and preparation, on-site support throughout the event, and post-event teardown. During the event, volunteers may be assigned to a variety of responsibilities based on the area of greatest need. Assignments may include assisting with registration, the reception, the Silent Auction, the Live Auction, backstage coordination, and other key event activities. Specific details about your volunteer assignment are sent following your acceptance as a volunteer with GLOBAL.
Additional information and documentation, including but not limited to a headshot, background check, and waiver, may be required to complete your volunteer application. Volunteers must be 18 years or older for this event. All volunteers will be required to attend one in-person volunteer training session prior to the event.
