How does somebody become a model?

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show model auditions are held every May. Individuals with Down syndrome ages 7 and older are invited to audition. No experience is necessary, and we encourage everyone to audition for this unforgettable experience! This year auditions are taking place on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at The Elaine Wolf Theatre Mizel Arts and Culture Center.



How can I volunteer at the event?

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers who are interested in being part of an amazing evening that will help the Global Down Syndrome Foundation improve the lives of people with Down syndrome. Volunteers are needed Wednesday, November 8th – Sunday, November 14th to assist in the following areas:

  • Event Setup & Teardown
  • Logistics
  • Marketing, Print & Signage
  • PR & Media
  • Registration
  • Self-advocate Pals
  • Silent & Live Auction
  • Staff Assistants

Volunteers must be 18 years or older for this event. All volunteers will be required to attend a volunteer training session prior to the event. Register Now

Make a Donation! Your donation will fund life-changing research and medical care benefiting people with Down syndrome. You will also be supporting health and wellness programs that make a difference in the lives of those with Down syndrome.

The Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show is a fundraiser for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation benefiting the Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome on the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
