Magnificent night at the Global Down Syndrome’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show! Congrats to Michelle Sie Whitten and Global Down Syndrome Foundation staff and volunteers!!
– Nancy Sevo

“I had the pleasure of attending the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show 2015.  I have attended the event for about 6-7 years and it is one of the most powerfully moving fundraisers in Denver. This year’s highlight was the presentation of the 2015 Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award to Anna and John J. Sie. Anna (Italy) and John (China) were both immigrants to the U.S. and after a very successful business career have leveraged their financial and human capital to make the world a better place! It is amazing to think Colorado is the hub if all of this great work being done on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Congratulations and “Thank You” to Mr. and Mrs. Sie.”

Thank you for including me as a VIP Volunteer for Be Beautiful Be Yourself 2015.  It was a true honor to work alongside you three and to be involved in such a talented group of people.  The event was beautiful from venue, layout, guests and production.  You all did an amazing job putting that together.  It is the most impressive Gala I have seen this year.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.”
– Kenzie Crow

The Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show raises awareness and funding for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, benefitting the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome on the Anschutz Medical Campus.. The gala has been a successful and enjoyable way to raise money for an important cause. One of the highlights of the evening was a video featuring 2015 Ambassador Clarissa Capuano, a second-grader who was described by a classmate: ‘I think she is a lot more awesome than she is different.’”
– John Reilly, Dean of the CU School of Medicine

We are blown away at the difference Global Down Syndrome Foundation has made.  A lot of us put time into things where we make some incremental enhancements to the thing we are helping.  It just seems like you have been able to leap frog the quality of life for this remarkable community of individuals.  Congrats again to you both and your whole family.”
– Mark Falcone
